केंद्र ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को बताया है कि NEET-PG 2027 परीक्षा में रैंक-आधारित सिस्टम अपनाया जाएगा। यह फैसला एक समिति द्वारा खाली मेडिकल सीटों को भरने के लिए पात्रता मानदंडों को कम करने के खिलाफ सिफारिश करने के बाद आया है। समिति ने गैर-क्लिनिकल पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए शुल्क में कमी लागू करने का भी सुझाव दिया। इस कदम का उद्देश्य स्नातकोत्तर मेडिकल प्रवेश प्रक्रिया को सुव्यवस्थित करना और देश भर के मेडिकल कॉलेजों में प्रवेश पाने वाले उम्मीदवारों की गुणवत्ता में सुधार करना है।
