West Bengal Voter List Discrepancies: 7 Lakh Appeals

In West Bengal, a significant number of voter list discrepancies have emerged. Out of 38.1 lakh appeals filed before the SIR appellate tribunals, a substantial 31 lakh were submitted by individuals challenging the inclusion of names. These challengers claimed that certain voters were ineligible to be on the rolls in Bengal.

पश्चिम बंगाल में वोटर लिस्ट में गड़बड़ी का मामला सामने आया है। SIR अपीलेट ट्रिब्यूनल में कुल 38.1 लाख अपीलें आईं, जिनमें से 31 लाख लोगों ने वोटरों के नाम शामिल करने पर आपत्ति जताई। इन लोगों का कहना था कि कुछ वोटर्स पश्चिम बंगाल में वोट देने के योग्य नहीं हैं।
