Minimum monthly wages for unskilled workers in Gautam Budh Nagar have been set at ₹13,883, with skilled workers entitled to ₹17,106, effective from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. This revision follows widespread worker protests in April demanding higher pay and better conditions. The updated rates are based on the variable dearness allowance (VDA) mechanism, calculated using the average All India Consumer Price Index for January to June 2026. The new daily wages are ₹533.98 for unskilled, ₹587.36 for semi-skilled, and ₹657.94 for skilled workers.

गौतम बुद्ध नगर में अकुशल मजदूरों के लिए न्यूनतम मासिक वेतन ₹13,883 तय किया गया है, जबकि कुशल मजदूरों को ₹17,106 मिलेंगे, जो 1 अक्टूबर 2026 से 31 मार्च 2027 तक प्रभावी रहेगा। यह संशोधन अप्रैल में बेहतर वेतन और सुविधाओं की मांग को लेकर हुए व्यापक मजदूर विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बाद हुआ है। नई दरें जनवरी से जून 2026 तक के औसत अखिल भारतीय उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक का उपयोग करके गणना किए गए परिवर्तनीय महंगाई भत्ते (VDA) तंत्र पर आधारित हैं। नए दैनिक वेतन अकुशल के लिए ₹533.98, अर्ध-कुशल के लिए ₹587.36 और कुशल मजदूरों के लिए ₹657.94 हैं।
