Experts at a National CME on Solid Organ Transplantation in Lucknow highlighted the crucial role of anaesthesia and critical care in patient survival and recovery. They noted that the expansion of transplant services has outpaced the availability of trained specialists, with only a few DM seats and fellowship programs available nationwide. SGPGIMS is enhancing its transplantation program, performing various transplants and planning to introduce DM courses to develop specialized expertise.

लखनऊ में सॉलिड ऑर्गन ट्रांसप्लांटेशन पर एक राष्ट्रीय सीएमई में विशेषज्ञों ने रोगी के जीवित रहने और ठीक होने में एनेस्थीसिया और क्रिटिकल केयर की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्यारोपण सेवाओं का विस्तार प्रशिक्षित विशेषज्ञों की उपलब्धता से आगे निकल गया है, और देश भर में केवल कुछ ही डीएम सीटें और फेलोशिप कार्यक्रम उपलब्ध हैं। एसजीपीजीआईएमएस अपने प्रत्यारोपण कार्यक्रम को बढ़ा रहा है, विभिन्न प्रत्यारोपण कर रहा है और विशेष विशेषज्ञता विकसित करने के लिए डीएम पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने की योजना बना रहा है।
