Odisha's Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari has accused the Andhra Pradesh government of creating a constitutional crisis by proceeding with panchayat elections in the disputed Kotia region, despite a Supreme Court directive to maintain the status quo. Tensions escalated as police from both states faced off in Neradivalsa village. Pujari stated that a state disobeying the Supreme Court leads to a constitutional crisis and potential collapse if the same locality has representatives from two states.
