Cyient Q2 Net Profit Declines Amidst Rising Income; ₹12 Dividend Declared

Engineering firm Cyient reported a consolidated net profit of ₹132.5 crore for the September quarter, a decrease from ₹142.9 crore in the same period last year. This dip occurred despite a rise in total income to ₹2,243.6 crore from ₹1,831 crore year-on-year. Sequentially, both net profit and total income showed an increase. The company announced an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share. Cyient's Executive Vice Chairman highlighted sustained momentum and significant growth opportunities in defence, semiconductors, and AI industries.
