The coronation took place on Tuesday, officially ending a succession dispute that arose after the previous monarch's death last month. The former king died of cancer at the age of 34, leading to a feud over the throne. His mother claimed a previously undisclosed son was the rightful heir. The new king, Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma, now leads the Batooro people.
