Delhi Begins Re-verification Drive For 47.6 Lakh Deleted Voters

Delhi election officials have initiated a special drive to re-verify 47.6 lakh voters whose names were deleted from the draft electoral rolls. These voters were marked absent, shifted, dead, or duplicate because their enumeration forms were not collected during a previous house-to-house verification. The current exercise aims to ensure no genuine voter is excluded from the final rolls, scheduled for publication. Voters found to have been wrongly deleted must submit Form 6 to be included.

दिल्ली के चुनाव अधिकारियों ने ड्राफ्ट मतदाता सूची से हटाए गए 47.6 लाख मतदाताओं के सत्यापन के लिए एक विशेष अभियान शुरू किया है। पिछले घर-घर जाकर सत्यापन के दौरान उनके एन्यूमरेशन फॉर्म एकत्र नहीं होने के कारण इन मतदाताओं को अनुपस्थित, स्थानांतरित, मृत या डुप्लिकेट के रूप में चिह्नित किया गया था। वर्तमान अभ्यास का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि अंतिम सूची के प्रकाशन के लिए कोई भी वास्तविक मतदाता बाहर न रहे। गलत तरीके से हटाए गए पाए जाने वाले मतदाताओं को शामिल होने के लिए फॉर्म 6 जमा करना होगा।
