Prayagraj Bids Emotional Farewell To Goddess Durga With Grand Immersion Processions

Hundreds of puja committees in Prayagraj participated in emotional immersion processions on Wednesday, marking the end of four days of Durga Puja festivities. Idols were immersed in designated water bodies across the district, with the administration ensuring crowd management and security. An artificial pond was created near the new Yamuna bridge to provide an additional immersion site and ease pressure on existing locations. Over 2,100 Durga idols were immersed in total across the district on Tuesday and Wednesday.

बुधवार को प्रयागराज में सैकड़ों पूजा समितियों ने दुर्गा पूजा के चार दिवसीय उत्सव के समापन पर भावभीनी विसर्जन जुलूस में भाग लिया। प्रशासन ने भीड़ प्रबंधन और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करते हुए जिले भर में निर्धारित जल निकायों में मूर्तियों का विसर्जन किया। मौजूदा स्थानों पर दबाव कम करने और विसर्जन स्थल की सुविधा के लिए नए यमुना पुल के पास एक कृत्रिम तालाब बनाया गया था। मंगलवार और बुधवार को जिले भर में कुल 2,100 से अधिक दुर्गा मूर्तियों का विसर्जन किया गया।
