Rajasthan: 6 Policemen Suspended After RSS Functionary Allegedly Beaten in Police Station

An RSS district organiser in Rajasthan's Naraina police station was allegedly beaten by police personnel after being taken to the station. Reports indicate he was stripped and beaten until he lost consciousness. Following protests by RSS volunteers, the Superintendent of Police visited the station. Six police personnel, including the station in-charge, have been suspended and a criminal case registered against them. The injured RSS functionary has been referred to Jaipur for treatment.

राजस्थान के नारायणा पुलिस स्टेशन में एक आरएसएस जिला आयोजक को कथित तौर पर पुलिसकर्मियों ने थाने ले जाने के बाद पीटा। रिपोर्टों से पता चलता है कि उसे नग्न कर दिया गया और तब तक पीटा गया जब तक वह बेहोश नहीं हो गया। आरएसएस स्वयंसेवकों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद, पुलिस अधीक्षक स्टेशन पहुंचे। स्टेशन प्रभारी सहित छह पुलिसकर्मियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है और उनके खिलाफ आपराधिक मामला दर्ज किया गया है। घायल आरएसएस पदाधिकारी को इलाज के लिए जयपुर रेफर किया गया है।
