IAS Officer Mittali Sethi Enrolls Twin Sons in Government Anganwadi

Nandurbar District Collector Mittali Sethi has enrolled her twin sons in a government anganwadi school. She stated that her decision was not to make a statement but because she liked the anganwadi and trusted the staff. Sethi was particularly impressed by an anganwadi worker who collaborated with a tailor to create a more comfortable weighing sling for children. This initiative demonstrated to Sethi the value of a responsive learning environment. Her parents and in-laws were initially skeptical, but her sons, now four, have continued attending the anganwadi.

नंदुरबार की जिला कलेक्टर मित्तली सेठी ने अपने जुड़वां बेटों को सरकारी आंगनवाड़ी स्कूल में दाखिला दिलाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह कोई बयान देने के लिए नहीं था, बल्कि उन्हें आंगनवाड़ी पसंद आई और वहां के स्टाफ पर भरोसा है। सेठी एक आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता से खास तौर पर प्रभावित हुईं, जिन्होंने बच्चों के लिए अधिक आरामदायक वजन मापने वाली झोली बनाने के लिए एक दर्जी के साथ मिलकर काम किया। इस पहल ने सेठी को एक उत्तरदायी सीखने के माहौल के मूल्य का एहसास कराया। उनके माता-पिता और ससुराल वाले शुरू में संशय में थे, लेकिन अब चार साल के उनके बेटे आंगनवाड़ी जा रहे हैं।
