Kerala CM to Launch Water Taxis and Kayaks in Muziris Heritage Project

Kerala Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan will launch water taxis and kayaks on October 4, 2026, as part of the Muziris Heritage Project. The services will operate from 14 boat jetties in the North Paravur-Kodungallor region, offering package tours and water sports. This initiative aims to elevate the Muziris Heritage Project to international standards, attracting more heritage enthusiasts and boosting the socio-economic condition of local youth and artists. The project also includes the renovation of museums to transform MHP into an internationally acclaimed destination within a year.
