VCIC Project to Boost Andhra & Tamil Nadu Industrial Growth with ₹15,000 Cr Investment

India is developing the VCIC, an 800km project aimed at boosting industrial activity along the eastern coast. With an investment of approximately ₹15,000 crore, the VCIC will enhance connectivity between ports, factories, and industrial hubs, reducing transportation times for goods. The project, supported by the Asian Development Bank, focuses on developing five key industrial nodes: Visakhapatnam, Srikalahasti-Yerpdedu, Kopparthi, Machilipatnam, and Donakonda. This initiative is expected to significantly improve logistics and attract new investments, benefiting both coastal and inland areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
