The fire tender was reportedly dispatched from Devgadh Baria Municipal Corporation after a call was made to its chief. The fire officer stated that the vehicle was instructed to wash the MLA's house. The operation was halted, and the MLA paid ₹2,700 for the expenses. Opposition questioned the deployment when residents face water shortages.
