Musk's Starshield Service Disruption Causes Ukrainian Drones To Crash

Times of India · world

A disruption in Elon Musk's Starshield satellite internet service caused over $1 million worth of Ukrainian drones to crash and halted military operations for three days. Ukrainian commanders reported that video feeds became fuzzy, leading to a loss of connection with ground-based pilots. This incident forced troops to suspend nearly all operations, including strikes on Russian command posts and fuel hubs. Ukrainian officials suspect the disruptions were ordered to pressure Kyiv into making concessions in the war, though US officials deny deliberately disrupting services.
