Apple has entered the smart display market with HomeView, a 7-inch touchscreen speaker priced at Rs 39,900 in India. It uses Siri AI and facial recognition to identify up to six users, personalizing their experience with individual apps and widgets. The device can play music, take calls, assist with recipes, and control smart home devices, while keeping personal data like messages and calendars private to each user. India is among the first eight countries to receive the HomeView, with pre-orders starting October 13 and deliveries on November 13.
