Sandhya Reddy, a woman originally from Hyderabad, has been elected as the mayor of Strathfield Council in Sydney, Australia. Reddy began her public service with the State Emergency Service in 2014 and was elected as an independent councillor in 2021, later becoming deputy mayor in 2023.
