Times of India - India · india

What began as a small social project on a Copenhagen rooftop in 2010 has evolved into a thriving urban business named ByBi (CityBee). The initiative now manages between 80 and 100 bee colonies across the Danish capital, producing up to six tonnes of honey annually. Founded by British anthropologist Oliver Maxwell, ByBi aims to support individuals facing social and economic barriers by training the long-term unemployed, asylum seekers, and those recovering from addiction in beekeeping.
