Bidadi police have registered a case against protesters for staging an unauthorised demonstration at Byramangala against the Bidadi Township project. The protesters allegedly disrupted traffic and normal public life by placing chairs on the road, parking tractors, and tying cattle. The demonstration, which began on September 21, continued for five days, causing inconvenience to schoolchildren, employees, and transport vehicles. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated that road blockades inconvenience the public, while Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy questioned the police's delayed intervention.
