A rare Victorian camera, forgotten in an Oxfordshire loft for nearly 30 years, has been sold at auction for £18,000. The homeowner inherited his father's belongings in 1996 and stored the equipment away, only rediscovering the mahogany and brass camera during a recent house clearance. The well-preserved late 19th-century model attracted international collectors before its sale.
