New Low-Pressure Area Forms Over Bay of Bengal, May Intensify Into Depression

A fresh low-pressure area has formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify into a depression by Friday. IMD warns it may move towards the Andhra Pradesh coast over the next two days, potentially bringing heavy rainfall to several coastal districts. Squally weather with wind speeds up to 65 kmph is also anticipated along the coast. This new system emerges as the remnant of Cyclone Arnab weakens over land.

दक्षिण-पश्चिम बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक नया निम्न दबाव क्षेत्र बन गया है और शुक्रवार तक इसके अवसाद (depression) में बदलने की उम्मीद है। IMD ने चेतावनी दी है कि यह अगले दो दिनों में आंध्र प्रदेश के तट की ओर बढ़ सकता है, जिससे कई तटीय जिलों में भारी बारिश की संभावना है। तट के किनारे 65 किमी प्रति घंटे तक की हवा की गति के साथ तूफानी मौसम का भी अनुमान है। यह नया सिस्टम चक्रवात अर्नाब के कमजोर होकर जमीन पर आने के बाद बना है।
