Daund MLA Urges CM to Release Mulshi Dam Water for Drought-Hit Areas

Daund MLA Rahul Kul has written to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis requesting the release of water from Mulshi dam into the Bhima river. This initiative aims to provide relief to drought-affected regions in Pune and Solapur districts, which have experienced deficient rainfall. The proposal involves channeling water from Mulshi to the Mula, Mula-Mutha, and finally Bhima rivers, ultimately replenishing the Ujani dam. This measure is expected to boost water levels, recharge groundwater, and benefit villages along the riverbanks, addressing potential water scarcity during summer.

दौंड के विधायक राहुल कुल ने मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस को पत्र लिखकर मुलशी बांध से भीमा नदी में पानी छोड़ने का अनुरोध किया है। इस पहल का मकसद पुणे और सोलापुर जिलों के सूखा प्रभावित इलाकों को राहत पहुंचाना है, जहाँ बारिश कम हुई है। प्रस्ताव में मुलशी से मुला, मुला-मुठा और अंत में भीमा नदियों में पानी पहुंचाने की बात है, जिससे अंततः उजनी बांध भरेगा। इस कदम से पानी का स्तर बढ़ने, भूजल रिचार्ज होने और नदी किनारे बसे गांवों को फायदा होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे गर्मियों में पानी की संभावित कमी को दूर किया जा सके।
