India Services Exports Rise 13%, Imports Spike 17%

India's services exports saw an estimated growth of 12.95% during April-August 2026-27, reaching US$183.36 billion compared to US$162.34 billion in the previous year. Services imports also experienced a significant surge of approximately 17.30%, rising to US$96.65 billion from US$82.40 billion. This trend resulted in a widening services trade surplus, which increased to US$86.71 billion from US$79.94 billion during the same period.

अप्रैल-अगस्त 2026-27 के दौरान भारत के सर्विस एक्सपोर्ट में करीब 12.95% की ग्रोथ देखी गई, जो पिछले साल के 162.34 अरब डॉलर से बढ़कर 183.36 अरब डॉलर हो गया। सर्विस इंपोर्ट भी लगभग 17.30% बढ़कर 96.65 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंच गया। इससे सर्विस ट्रेड सरप्लस बढ़कर 86.71 अरब डॉलर हो गया, जो पहले 79.94 अरब डॉलर था।
