LeT commander Mohammad Asif, also known as Hashim Musa, sustained a gunshot wound during an encounter in Rajouri forests. Unable to reach medical facilities due to an ongoing security operation, he resorted to applying pure honey to his injury. Instructions for this unusual treatment were reportedly sent from his handlers in Pakistan. Musa, a former Pakistan Army SSG commando, was a key plotter of the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack. The 45-day search operation concluded with his elimination this week.
