Al Jazeera · world

The Saudi-led coalition has dismissed claims by the Houthi group regarding ballistic missile and drone attacks on Riyadh as misleading. Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki stated the Houthis are attempting to divert attention from significant losses and public anger. This comes as Yemeni forces reported killing at least 700 Houthi rebels in precision targeting operations. Fighting has intensified since a truce collapsed in July, displacing hundreds of thousands and impacting vital global shipping routes.
