Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati is New Chief Justice

Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati has been appointed the new Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. He is currently a judge at the Rajasthan High Court. The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended his name for the position on August 31. Justice Bhati will succeed Justice Sanjeev. This appointment is a significant development for the judiciary in the Union Territories.

न्यायमूर्ति पुष्पेंद्र सिंह भाटी बने नए मुख्य न्यायाधीश

जम्मू और कश्मीर और लद्दाख हाई कोर्ट के नए मुख्य न्यायाधीश के तौर पर जस्टिस पुष्पेंद्र सिंह भाटी की नियुक्ति हुई है। वे अभी राजस्थान हाई कोर्ट में जज हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट कोलेजियम ने 31 अगस्त को उनके नाम की सिफारिश की थी। जस्टिस भाटी, जस्टिस संजीव की जगह लेंगे। यह इन केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के न्यायपालिका के लिए एक अहम कदम है।
