J.P. Morgan Sees BoE Rates Rising Amid Inflation

J.P. Morgan anticipates the Bank of England will implement a 25 basis point interest rate hike in November, with another increase expected in 2027. This forecast follows the BoE's decision to hold rates steady at 3.75%, despite warnings that inflation could exceed 4% early next year. The central bank also announced a six-month pause in government bond sales, a move aimed at reducing uncertainty in volatile market conditions.
