Bihar CM Surveys Flood-Hit North Bihar, Directs Officials to Expedite Relief Efforts

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in north Bihar, his second in three days. He instructed officials to maintain community kitchens until displaced residents can return home and ensure financial assistance of Rs 7,000 is provided to each flood-affected family before Durga Puja. The state is facing a severe flood situation due to water from Nepal's Terai region. Surveys of the Kosi and Mahananda rivers are underway to find a permanent solution to recurring floods.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने उत्तर बिहार के बाढ़ प्रभावित इलाकों का हवाई सर्वेक्षण किया, जो तीन दिनों में उनका दूसरा दौरा था। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को तब तक सामुदायिक रसोई बनाए रखने का निर्देश दिया जब तक कि विस्थापित निवासी घर वापस नहीं लौट जाते और यह सुनिश्चित करें कि दुर्गा पूजा से पहले प्रत्येक बाढ़ प्रभावित परिवार को 7,000 रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाए। नेपाल के तराई क्षेत्र से पानी आने के कारण राज्य गंभीर बाढ़ की स्थिति का सामना कर रहा है। बार-बार आने वाली बाढ़ का स्थायी समाधान खोजने के लिए कोसी और महानंदा नदियों का सर्वेक्षण चल रहा है।
