Construction Worker Kills Pregnant Wife in Hinjewadi While Trying Traditional Remedies

A construction worker was arrested in Hinjewadi, Pune, for allegedly killing his pregnant wife in the early hours of Thursday. The 30-year-old accused, from Bihar, and his wife worked at a local construction site. After two miscarriages, the victim was pregnant again, and the accused was attempting traditional remedies involving steam infused with camphor and cloves. When the woman became agitated and ran out, he throttled her while trying to bring her back inside. He has been arrested under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder.
