Punjab CM's Wife Agrees to Drop Justice Ranjit Singh From Defamation Suit

Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, wife of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, has agreed to remove Justice Ranjit Singh as a defendant in her defamation suit. The court had questioned the suit's maintainability against him. Kaur stated Justice Singh clarified his statement was incomplete and not intended to defame her. She agreed to his removal, provided the incomplete publication attributed to DD News anchor Bhawna Nayyar is also removed from social media. Justice Singh's counsel alleged Kaur concealed facts and questioned her change of stance after the court raised concerns.
