Europe's top court has upheld an $854,250 fine against Google's YouTube for showing gambling advertisements. Google had claimed it was not liable for third-party content. However, the court ruled that Google could be held liable if a commercial partnership exists. An Italian court will now make the final decision on the case. यूरोप की सबसे बड़ी अदालत ने YouTube पर जुए के विज्ञापन दिखाने के लिए लगे 854,250 डॉलर के जुर्माने को बरकरार रखा है। Google का कहना था कि वह तीसरे पक्ष की सामग्री के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं है। लेकिन अदालत ने कहा कि अगर कोई व्यावसायिक साझेदारी है तो Google को जवाबदेह ठहराया जा सकता है। अब इटली की अदालत इस मामले में आखिरी फैसला सुनाएगी। यह फैसला विज्ञापनों के लिए प्लेटफॉर्म की जवाबदेही तय करेगा।
