NASA Images Show SpaceX Rocket Crater on Moon

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has captured new images of a crater formed by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket stage impact on the Moon. The upper stage of the rocket intentionally impacted the lunar surface earlier this month. This event marks the first time a rocket stage has intentionally crashed into the Moon, creating a unique lunar feature for scientific observation and study.
