Rob Scheer's Comfort Cases Has Provided Over 300,000 Backpacks To Foster Children
Times of India - India · india
Rob Scheer founded Comfort Cases in 2013, inspired by his own childhood experiences in foster care. Seeing his adopted children arrive with their belongings in trash bags, he began packing backpacks with essential items at home. The charity has since grown into an international organization, distributing over 300,000 backpacks and duffel bags. These cases provide comfort and dignity to children entering foster care across the US and the UK. Each case contains new pajamas, toiletries, a blanket, and age-appropriate items like books or stuffed animals.
