मुंबई पोर्ट अथॉरिटी विक्टोरिया डॉक में ₹923 करोड़ की लग्जरी यॉट मरीना बनाने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रही है। इसका मकसद बंदरगाह को नौकायन और वाटरफ्रंट पर्यटन का केंद्र बनाना है। 35 से ज़्यादा उद्योग प्रतिनिधियों ने प्री-बिड मीटिंग में हिस्सा लिया, जिससे विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से मजबूत रुचि का पता चलता है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में 604 यॉट की सुविधा होगी और इसमें 45 साल की रियायत अवधि शामिल है। पोर्ट अथॉरिटी समुद्री काम संभालेगी, जबकि डेवलपर फाइव-स्टार होटल और सेलिंग स्कूल जैसे ज़मीनी ढांचे का निर्माण करेगा। पर्यावरण मंजूरी मिल चुकी है, जिससे निवेशकों का जोखिम कम हो गया है।
