A Patna court has expressed displeasure over alleged lapses in the investigation into the death of a NEET aspirant, who was found unconscious in her hostel room. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a closure report, but the court questioned investigating officers regarding the failure to collect crucial CCTV and technical evidence. The court was not satisfied with the explanations, raising concerns that the allegations of sexual assault, indicated by post-mortem and forensic reports, had not been adequately examined.
