The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the School Education Secretary regarding a contempt plea alleging non-compliance with its order. The plea seeks directions to regulate all institutions providing education or religious instruction to children under 14. Advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay filed the contempt petition after the Secretary allegedly took no action on his representation. The court directed the Secretary to file a reply within four weeks, emphasizing the state's heightened.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने स्कूल शिक्षा सचिव को अवमानना याचिका पर नोटिस जारी किया है। याचिका में कहा गया है कि कोर्ट के आदेश का पालन नहीं हुआ है। इसमें 14 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों को शिक्षा या धार्मिक शिक्षा देने वाले सभी संस्थानों को विनियमित करने की मांग की गई है। सचिव द्वारा कोई कार्रवाई न करने पर वकील अश्विनी कुमार उपाध्याय ने यह याचिका दायर की है। कोर्ट ने सचिव से चार हफ्तों में जवाब मांगा है।
