HC Issues Notice to Two BRS MLCs

The Telangana High Court has issued notices to two BRS MLCs, Thatha Madhusudhan and N. Naveen Kumar Reddy. This action follows a criminal petition filed by the police seeking to overturn a local court's rejection of the MLCs' remand. The MLCs were arrested on September 8 for allegedly abusing the Assembly Speaker. The police invoked sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Prevention of Atrocities Act.

हाई कोर्ट ने दो बीआरएस एमएलसी को नोटिस जारी किया

तेलंगाना हाई कोर्ट ने दो BRS MLCs, थथा मधुसूदन और N. नवीन कुमार रेड्डी को नोटिस भेजा है। यह कार्रवाई पुलिस द्वारा दायर एक क्रिमिनल याचिका के बाद हुई है। पुलिस स्थानीय अदालत के उस फैसले को पलटना चाहती है जिसमें MLCs की रिमांड खारिज कर दी गई थी। इन MLCs को 8 सितंबर को असेंबली स्पीकर के साथ कथित दुर्व्यवहार के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। पुलिस ने भारतीय न्याय संहिता और अत्याचार निवारण अधिनियम की धाराएं लगाई हैं।
