CJI Chandrachud Explains Why He Refused To Meet Opposition Leaders

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधिमंडल से मिलने के संबंध में सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख स्पष्ट किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के दरवाजे सबके लिए हमेशा खुले हैं, लेकिन वह व्यक्तिगत रूप से राजनीतिक नेताओं या प्रतिनिधिमंडलों से मिलने से बचते हैं। यह निर्णय न्यायपालिका की निष्पक्षता और स्वतंत्रता बनाए रखने के लिए है। सीजेआई ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि ऐसी मुलाकात को गलत समझा जा सकता है और यह अदालत के निष्पक्ष कामकाज से समझौता कर सकता है। उनका मानना है कि सभी पक्षों को अदालत के औपचारिक कानूनी ढांचे के भीतर अपने मामले पेश करने चाहिए।
