Streamer xQc has challenged the tactics used in recent French protests, which Pokimane had previously supported. Pokimane had voiced her backing for the protests, citing issues such as the rising cost of living, inadequate teacher wages, and concerns over the education system. In response, xQc questioned the affordability of cities in France during a livestream. He further criticized footage from the demonstrations, describing the actions depicted as violence rather than legitimate protest.
