Expelled BJP Leader Denied Anticipatory Bail in Sexual Harassment Case

मद्रास हाई कोर्ट ने निष्कासित भाजपा प्रदेश महासचिव करप्पु एम मुरुगनंथम की अग्रिम जमानत याचिका खारिज कर दी है। वह एक महिला पार्टी पदाधिकारी द्वारा दर्ज कराए गए यौन उत्पीड़न के मामले में गिरफ्तारी से बचना चाहते थे। शिकायत में मुरुगनंथम पर यौन शोषण, उत्पीड़न, धमकी देने और निजी तस्वीरें ऑनलाइन प्रसारित करने का आरोप लगाया गया है। मुरुगनंथम ने खुद को निर्दोष बताया है और कहा है कि शिकायत झूठी है और उनकी प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुंचाने के इरादे से की गई है। अदालत के फैसले का मतलब है कि उन्हें गिरफ्तारी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
