Andhra Pradesh to Get Three New Cardiac Labs

Andhra Pradesh is set to enhance its cardiac healthcare services with the establishment of three new catheterisation laboratories (cath labs) in government teaching hospitals located in Tirupati, Nellore, and Srikakulam. The tender process for these facilities, costing ₹18 crore, is currently underway. Additionally, a modern cath lab at Kakinada Government General Hospital will open on October 1. The state is also investing ₹34 crore to expand cardiac equipment and infrastructure, aiming to provide better treatment and reduce the need for patients to travel for critical cardiac procedures.

आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार तिरुपति, नेल्लोर और श्रीकाकुलम के सरकारी टीचिंग अस्पतालों में तीन नए कैथेटेराइजेशन लेबोरेटरी (कैथ लैब) स्थापित करके अपनी कार्डियक हेल्थकेयर सेवाओं को बेहतर बनाने जा रही है। इन सुविधाओं के लिए ₹18 करोड़ की लागत से टेंडर प्रक्रिया चल रही है। इसके अलावा, काकीनाडा गवर्नमेंट जनरल हॉस्पिटल में एक आधुनिक कैथ लैब 1 अक्टूबर को खुलेगी। राज्य सरकार ₹34 करोड़ का निवेश करके कार्डियक उपकरण और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का विस्तार भी कर रही है, ताकि मरीजों को बेहतर इलाज मिल सके और उन्हें गंभीर कार्डियक प्रक्रियाओं के लिए यात्रा न करनी पड़े।
