India, Spain To Speed Up UPI-Bizum Talks

India and Spain are set to accelerate discussions on making their payment systems, UPI and Bizum, interoperable. This move aims to simplify cross-border transactions between the two nations. Beyond payment systems, both countries are exploring enhanced investment facilitation, improved professional mobility, and joint investments in Latin America. Spain's role as a gateway to Europe and Latin America for India is also being leveraged.
