Newly released body camera footage offers a chilling look at the moments after a six-year-old student shot his first-grade teacher, Abby Zwerner, at Richneck Elementary School in Virginia in 2023. The video shows officers interacting with the boy, who was still in the classroom and verbally abusive after the incident. Zwerner survived the shooting, which occurred when a bullet from the boy's handgun struck her hand and chest. She was later awarded $10 million in a civil case against the school's former assistant principal.
