NSE Receives SEBI Nod for Corporate Bond Index Futures Contracts

The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has received a no-objection certificate from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to introduce futures contracts on a corporate bond index. This new product aims to provide market participants with an exchange-traded instrument for managing corporate bond market risk. It is expected to offer an additional avenue for risk management, portfolio hedging, and price discovery.

नेशनल स्टॉक एक्सचेंज ऑफ इंडिया (NSE) को कॉर्पोरेट बॉन्ड इंडेक्स पर फ्यूचर्स कॉन्ट्रैक्ट्स शुरू करने के लिए भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (SEBI) से 'नो ऑब्जेक्शन सर्टिफिकेट' मिल गया है। इस नए प्रोडक्ट का मकसद मार्केट पार्टिसिपेंट्स को कॉर्पोरेट बॉन्ड मार्केट के रिस्क को मैनेज करने के लिए एक एक्सचेंज-ट्रेडेड इंस्ट्रूमेंट देना है। इससे रिस्क मैनेजमेंट, पोर्टफोलियो हेजिंग और प्राइस डिस्कवरी के लिए एक अतिरिक्त जरिया मिलने की उम्मीद है।
