UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated the UN has not published any map with borders, clarifying that it is not the UN's role to define them. This comes after India objected to anomalies in a world map used during a UN General Assembly resolution. Guterres explained the map on the UN website was an NGO's contribution, not an official UN document, and was indicative. The resolution itself focused on correcting landmass distortions, not defining borders.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र के महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस ने साफ किया है कि यूएन ने कोई नक्शा जारी नहीं किया है जिसमें सीमाएं बताई गई हों। उन्होंने कहा कि सीमाएं तय करना यूएन का काम नहीं है। यह तब हुआ जब भारत ने यूएन जनरल असेंबली के एक प्रस्ताव में इस्तेमाल हुए नक्शे में गड़बड़ी पर आपत्ति जताई थी। गुटेरेस ने बताया कि यूएन की वेबसाइट पर दिखाया गया नक्शा एक NGO का योगदान था, कोई आधिकारिक यूएन दस्तावेज़ नहीं।
