Delhi on High Alert Ahead of CJP Protest; Metro, Trains Affected

Ahead of a planned protest by the 'Cockroach Janata Party' at Jantar Mantar, Delhi authorities have implemented stringent security measures. The Delhi Police denied permission for the demonstration, which concerns the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and voter list issues. Consequently, traffic, rail, and metro services are impacted, with several metro stations closed, trains cancelled, and internet services suspended in some areas. Over 20,000 security personnel have been deployed, and 12 detention centers prepared for unauthorized protesters.
