Florida rapper Billy Adams III, also known as Ace NH, has requested the death penalty after being convicted of killing his pregnant girlfriend, Alana Sims, and her unborn child in January 2023. A jury recommended capital punishment for the unborn child's death, while opting for life imprisonment for Sims' murder. Adams, 28, submitted a handwritten letter to the court, waiving further mitigation arguments and urging his lawyers to respect his decision for sentencing. He stated he was comfortable with the jury's recommendation for execution.
