UF Student Shares Harassment Video, Fears for Life

A University of Florida student shared a video of himself being harassed and verbally abused with homophobic slurs near campus. The student reported that the aggressor, who was recording him, pushed him and prevented him from walking away. He stated he was "genuinely fearing for my life" during the encounter. The incident, which occurred earlier this month, was listed by UF Public Safety as a 'hate crime' assault. The student sought help identifying the harasser, who also made derogatory remarks about his Indian ethnicity.
