TET Qualified Candidates Protest For Immediate Hiring

Tension gripped Agartala on Thursday as TET qualified candidates protested, demanding the immediate hiring of all 1,856 individuals who passed TET-I and TET-II in 2024. Police used water cannons and detained around a hundred protesters to disperse the crowd. Candidates cited financial hardship and emotional distress due to recruitment delays. They urged the government to finalize recruitment and issue appointments without further exclusions or new selection processes.
