Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has described India's proposal to end the war with Russia as the "most comprehensive" and broad. He indicated that this marks the first time India has signaled a willingness to play a role in resolving the conflict. Kyiv has also received similar proposals from Egypt, Turkey, and the United States. The ongoing conflict, which began in February 2022, is the deadliest in Europe since World War II. Ukraine has expressed readiness for an energy and agricultural truce in the Black Sea.
